Lattice vs Milanote
Lattice and Milanote both let you collect images, links, and notes on a board and share it with a client. Milanote uses a column-based layout with no AI and a free tier capped at 100 items. The short version
Milanote is the established choice and it is a good one: it has presentation mode, password-protected boards, anonymous client commenting, PDF export, a web clipper, and native mobile apps. If you need a password on a client board today, Milanote has it and Lattice does not. Lattice is the better fit when the board itself is the thing you present. Its canvas is free-form rather than column-based, so three directions can sit side by side. It groups and tags a full board for you, which Milanote does not attempt. Presentation walks frame by frame through the canvas instead of clicking into cards. And the free tier has no item cap, so a real client board does not hit a wall at 100 things.
